Double Cone Structure (patent-pending) – A massive contact area between the two cones virtually eliminates the dust cap failure of typical subwoofer designs especially in extreme SPL conditions.
Interlaced Carbon Fiber/Glass Fiber Reinforced IMPP Cone (patent-pending) – This material forms an incredibly resilient fiber weave, providing strength and rigidity for the cone.
Double Cone Reinforcement Nodes (patent-pending) – Derived from Pioneer’s TS-SW124D shallow subwoofer, these patent-pending reinforcement nodes securely connect the two cones and further develop the stability and resiliency needed for high SPL performance.
Ceramic Coated Voice Coil Wire (patent-pending) – This material provides superior heat capability to more than double the input power handling capability. Ceramic coating insulates the voice coil wire, preventing short circuits due to overheating and dramatically improving reliability.
Aluminum Heatsink Cooling System – This cooling system draws heat away from the inside of the subwoofer, improving heat dissipation by 20 percent and reducing temperatures significantly.
Titanium Voice Coil Bobbin – Titanium is used for its strength and lightweight nature, providing 1.5 times more strength than conventional designs.
Wide Roll, 3-Layer Fiber Radial Surround (patented design) – Honeycomb-pattern reinforcing cotton cloth sandwiched between a wide-roll, dual-layer urethane surround resists surround puckering at large excursion, resulting in louder, more controlled bass response.
Super Aramid Fiber Damper – The tear-proof damper withstands the most potent abuse.
