Gain Control
The Pioneer GM anolog amplifiers are equipped with gain control, a preotective function that prevents malfunction of the unit itself, as well as the speakers, caused by too much output, improper use and improper connection. Even when the amplifiers are connected to the headunits with high voltage pre-outs, the signal is not clipped or distorted if the gain control is set at the propoer position. To ensure continuous audio output, the amplifier’s gain control must be set to the pre-out maximum output level of the headunit. There is no need to decrease the volume of the headunit, as too much output with be controlled.

Low pass filter (LPF)
Mid and high range sounds are filter of according to the user set cut off frequency. Low range sound is transferred to the woofer.

High pass Filter (HPF)
Low range sounds is filter off according to user -set cut off frequency. Mid and high range sounds are transferred to the speaker.

RCA input
RCA input can be connected with headunits featuring RCA output for pre-amp signal

Speaker Level input
This allows a Pioneer amplifer to be connected to an OEM radio without requiring expensive add-on adaptors.
